Fumeaux Consulting was founded by Eric Fumeaux in 2006 to provide a superior service to you, the client, and enable you to reap the benefit of his 30 years of experience in the areas of Strategy, Management and Innovation.
Eric Fumeaux trained as an engineer at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology and spent 12 years working for Lonza as a chemical engineer before founding the High School of Engineering Valais in 1988. From 2000 to 2005, he was head of the Swiss Federal Office for Professional Education and Technology (250 staff, budget of CHF 1 billion). He led the reform of professional training, then initiated and directed the reform of the universities of applied sciences (UAS).
A member of several boards of directors, he was chairman of the CTI, the Swiss innovation promotion agency, for 8 years and it was in this capacity that he launched the national entrepreneurship programme (Venturelab) and created the Swiss technology transfer centres.
He is a Member of the Swiss Academy of Engineering Sciences (SATW) and a Chevalier de l'Ordre des Palmes Académiques of the Republic of France.
